I currently live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but my journey began in Poughkeepsie, New York, where I discovered my love of singing as a teenager. That passion led me to pursue music professionally, earning degrees in voice and eventually a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Pedagogy from Shenandoah Conservatory.
After years of performing and teaching, I realized that what I love most is helping others discover confidence, expression, and joy in their own voices. My doctoral research focused on music performance anxiety—an experience I understand personally and one that affects so many singers and performers. This work deepened my commitment to supporting others with both skill and compassion.
Along the way, I deepened my mindfulness and meditation practice, discovered Reiki, and began composing my own music, including vocal warm-ups, exercises, and short empowering songs I call Vocal Joys.
